Lexi & Pi

Two months ago, an old friend of mine and his daughter have started their own YouTube channel: as Lexi & Pi, they tackle mathematical topics that Lexi has encountered at school – like fractional arithmetic. And they do not only work out solutions but provide background information and helpful tips, too.

I enjoy watching them experiment with different presentational approaches, with timing and with new equipment, and improve steadily. Oh, and I’ve already learned something, too! I’d never heard about the Sieve of Eratosthenes before (or had totally forgotten about it).

This is great stuff for pupils, pupils’ parents and anyone who wants to re-train their maths muscle! (In German language only – so far …)
