In the House of Artists (2)

Originally, the House of Artists belonged to a coal mine as my friend told me. It housed the offices, the locker rooms, and the pithead bath. Below the house, you can still see the beginning of the passage leading to the former shaft. Today, the passage (to the right) is bricked up. To the left the “black stairway” (I’ll show a photo of it tomorrow) is still accessible.
Now, doesn’t this look just like a scene from one of Lovecraft’s stories?
